Our Mystical Haven
Our winter retreat takes place at a beautiful rustic cabin nestled on 8 private acres in Gooderham, Ontario. A serene escape surrounded by moonlit forest glades, snow-covered meadows, and tranquil forest trails. Just a couple of hours from Toronto, it’s the perfect blend of cozy comfort and natural wonder.
The property features a spacious log cabin, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, and scenic forest pathways, all transformed into a magical winter backdrop for our retreat experiences and photoshoots.
Throughout the weekend, custom winter-themed sets will be styled across the property, think flickering lanterns, frosted evergreens, and glowing embers in the snow, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere to capture your essence in a one-of-a-kind photoshoot.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring to the retreat? Bring comfortable warm clothing for both indoor and outdoor activities, any personal magical tools you wish to use, swimwear for the hottub, a journal, and an open heart. A detailed packing list will be sent upon registration, including suggestions for photoshoot attire.
What are the sleeping arrangements like? The cabin features shared accommodations with 2 witches per room in comfortable beds. A private room is available first come first serve. All linens and towels are provided.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? Absolutely! We honor all dietary needs and restrictions. Please inform us of your requirements when you register, and our kitchen witch will ensure you're well-nourished throughout your stay.
What if I'm camera shy? Many witches feel nervous before their photoshoot, but our photographer Andrea creates a comfortable, empowering environment. You'll be amazed at how the magic of the setting and the support of your coven sisters helps you shine. The transformation is often part of the healing experience!
Do you offer payment plans? Yes! We understand that investing in yourself is important, and we offer flexible payment plans to suit your budget. Contact us directly to discuss options that work for you.
What is your cancellation policy? Due to the intimate nature of our retreat and limited spots available: - All bookings are final and non-refundable. However, in the event the Participant would like to cancel their booking, if paid in full, a one-time voucher for the amount paid by the Participant can be issued if the Participant is unable to attend the Retreat. This voucher will be nontransferable and valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and can be applied to any Retreat operated by Coven Cottage Retreat within that time period. If the Participant would like to transfer their booking or their voucher, approval or denial of the transfer will be the sole right of The Host as The Host retains the right to refuse attendance to any party they believe may be a risk to other Participants, The Host or themself. Any request for a transfer or cancellation voucher must be made via email to covencottageretreat@gmail.com no later than 30 days before the first day of the retreat to be considered for approval or denial before the retreat. Any requests made after that date may be assessed and approved or denied after the retreat has concluded
Will I have time for personal reflection? While we have a full schedule of group activities, we honor the need for solitude and reflection. The property offers many secluded spots to commune with nature, and certain periods are designated as optional free time.
Is the location accessible? The cabin has a few steps at the entrance and some uneven terrain on the property. Please contact us about specific accessibility needs, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Can I bring my own magical tools and altar items? Absolutely! We encourage you to bring personal items that connect you to your practice. We'll have a special ceremony where we create a communal altar with an item from each participant.
